ERGO’s two print centres are responsible for producing 40 million customer mailings every
year and are crucial to the quality of its customer services. ERGO needs to ensure that print
processes are efficient and cost-effective, while minimising waste and paper usage to align
with environmental goals.
Solution:
ERGO has used CA Deliver™, CA View® and CA Spool™, part of CA’s Enterprise
Report Management solution, since 1993 to manage printing and distribution within its
mainframe environment. The solutions automate core processes, such as archiving,
retrieval and backup.
Result:
Automated output management has helped ERGO reduce paper consumption, lower
printing costs and safeguard the quality of its printed documents. Integrated backup
facilities help the insurance provider achieve compliance with data retention legislation.
