Business: MMA is one of France’s leading mutual insurance groups. With more than 3.2 million members, MMA offers the full range of insurance services to consumers and businesses through its 11,270 employees and almost 2,000 agencies.
Challenge: Following a merger, MMA needed to provide a reliable, secure and standardised desktop environment across an expanded user base. It also needed to streamline IT processes and improve quality of service in order to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Solution: MMA implemented CA IT Client Manager across 12,000 desktops within just six months and will also deploy the solution to 8,000 PCs in its agencies. Automated software delivery and asset tracking capabilities have streamlined processes and improved service levels for users. For example, 90 percent of new software is provisioned within two days; previously this could have taken up to a month.
Result: As well as simplifying the IT transition following the merger, MMA can now support a larger user base with the same level of IT resources. By adopting a more cost-effective and efficient approach to desktop management, MMA has been able to enhance quality of service both for users and customers and increase business agility, which is key to future growth.
