Dutch Student Joins Research Organization CA Labs Europe
Finalist in International Case Competition 2011 will Work on Software Localization Project
Utrecht, 26 April 2012 - CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announced that Frederik Mijnhardt, MSc student at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, has joined a project team of its research organization CA Labs Europe to investigate new technologies to accelerate software localization. At the end of 2011 Frederik and two fellow students from the Utrecht University were finalists in the CA Technologies International Case Competition 2011 which took place at CA World in Las Vegas.
Frederik Mijnhardt: “I am excited to be collaborating with CA Labs Europe, in particular with the project team researching translation tools for multi-lingual product localization. Many users of software products understand English; however, IT nowadays is present in all aspects of life and business. This requires native language support, which still takes a lot of time and is costly. We are exploring better, faster and more cost-effective techniques to reduce time-to-market of CA Technologies software in multiple languages.”
