Vision EITM: What IT can do for a business. Enterprise IT Management, or EITM, is CA's vision of how companies can unify and simplify IT management for greater business results.

Current State: IT has become an essential engine that drives competitiveness and business growth — vital to conducting day-to-day business, delivering new, innovative services, complying with security and other regulations, and better managing resources. What's more, the role of IT grows as new technologies and capabilities emerge. In this environment, the current fragmented approach to IT management — in which islands of technology are often disconnected from each other and from the needs and opportunities of the business — impedes the evolution and growth of the business.

The Advantage of EITM: EITM offers something entirely different — a range of integrated IT management solutions that can unify the IT environment, simplify complex IT management, and ensure that IT is aligned with the goals of the business. The aim of EITM is not to replace existing IT investments. Rather, it is to leverage CA solutions to:

1. Gain greater visibility of the entire IT environment

2. Better manage and align existing capabilities

3. Drive better, more effective investment decisions as new technologies emerge
