CA Technologies Partners With Australian-Based Westcon Group to Bolster Value Added Distribution

Company Names New Channel Executives to Support Regional Efforts

Islandia, N.Y and Sydney, April 4, 2012 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announces a new channel partnership with Value Added Distributor (VAD), Westcon Group. Under the new agreement, Westcon Group will have access to distribute a broad range of CA Technologies enterprise solutions to its customers in Australia.

Specialising in delivering unified communications, network infrastructure, data centre and security solutions, Westcon creates unique programs and provides financial and technical support for its partners.  Among Westcon partners are such leading vendors as Cisco, Avaya, Emerson Network Power, F5 Networks, McAfee and Riverbed.

This partnership further solidifies CA Technologies channel commitment, following the appointment of two members to its channel team late last year: Robert Watson and Beth Ryan. Watson joined CA Technologies from IBM as Channel Account Director. In this role, he is focused on the company’s VAD strategy, and driving enterprise and cloud-based solutions via the channel. Ryan joined CA Technologies as Alliances Director. Previously from IBM, her focus is on aligning technology solutions and channel strategy with partner capabilities in the Australia and New Zealand market.
