Ditton Park, UK, 18 June 2012 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA) today announced the appointment of Paul Jackson to lead the UK and Ireland Security business. The appointment will help CA Technologies Security business extend its growth in the Content-Aware Identity and Access Management sector, and help customers across the UK and Ireland across distributed, virtual, and cloud environments.
Paul has considerable experience in implementing authentication and security solutions for UK banking, government organisations and critical national infrastructure operators. His career in security started at Thales, where he led the e-Security payment and communications security portfolios and was responsible for securing several of the largest deals in the company’s history. More recently Paul has been involved with several major UK security initiatives, from National Identity Cards to the UK Ministry of Defence cyber security plans.
