1. The Candidate and Education Delivery Manager will discuss the candidate's certification preparation activities. The Education Delivery Manager will document the activities and dates for completing each action item in the plan and forward a copy of the plan to the candidate and the appropriate Certifier. The plan will also include any additional technical training to give the candidate the proper technical background to teach the course.

2. The Candidate will be scheduled to attend the CT900 Instructor Training class.

3. The Candidate will obtain teaching materials from the Education Delivery Manager, via instructor CD. This includes the following: Instructors Guide, Student Guide, Presentation Materials, and Exercise Files.

4. The Candidate will attend a class as a student in order to be able to use the technology covered in the course and the course.

5. The Candidate will practice using the technology as a user. At the conclusion of this activity the candidate should be technically competent with the technology covered in the course. If any technical certifications are required to teach a course, then these also have to be obtained as part of the candidate’s development activities.

6. The Candidate will attend a second class offering to observe the instructor's course delivery skills (depending on the instructor skill level). The candidate will focus on teaching techniques, information to be conveyed, transition, and timings of course delivery.

7. The Candidate will practice-teach the course. At the conclusion of this activity the candidate will be ready to perform the teach-back.

Steps in the Certification Process:

1. The Education Delivery Manager and Certifier determine date and location of the teach-back.

2. The Certifier arranges for the classroom, materials, image and any other logistics.

3. All pertinent information is sent to the Delivery Manager.

How to Join:

To achieve ATP status, you must:

If you are not a member of the CA Partner Program, please join now.
An Education Partner application must be completed first.
A CA Education Manager will review the application and conduct an initial interview with the applicant.
During the interview, a copy of your Training Business Plan will be requested.
Once received, the application and Training Business Plan materials will be evaluated for considerations of the technical and geographic scope of the Applicant. An audit of the facility and/or interview with training center personnel may be requested before rendering a partnership decision.

Please allow a minimum of one month for application review after all required items are submitted. CA reserves the right to deny authorisation where, in CA’s opinion, the market will not support an additional partner.
