New This Spring From the CA Project and Portfolio Management Team
New this spring from the CA Project and Portfolio Management team is the release of CA Agile Vision™ Spring 2011 and CA Product Vision Spring 2011.

We're excited to announce that the spring release of both solutions will include social collaboration capabilities with Chatter. Chatter lets product and project teams work more efficiently and closely with colleagues within their own private and secure social network. The spring releases will also feature improved text search capabilities and configurability options for list and detail views, allowing any organization to personalize their experience.

Additionally, CA Product Vision will also feature improved integration with CA Clarity™ PPM as well as CA Idea Vision. Integration with CA Clarity will allow project teams to see the requirements linked to their tasks so they can understand what scope is impacted by schedule changes and, with the improved Idea Vision integration, analysts and product managers can easily turn one or many ideas into requirements with one click.

Recently, we have highlighted some valuable add-on solutions from CA Partners OpenMake Software and Trinem, along with some glimpses of what we are planning for the future.

Currently available replays include the above listed April 12, 2011 - RTI and Trinem Deployment Manager Phil Gibbs, Trinem. Using RTI, CA-SCM can control code on remote platforms that are not currently supported with Agents. Code on platforms such as Seriesi (iSeries, AS/400), OpenVMS and Tandem can now be controlled with CA-SCM as well as currently unsupported UNIX variants such as Solaris on Intel or Tru64.
