Security Notice for CA ARCserve® D2D
CA Technologies Support is alerting customers to a security risk with CA ARCserve D2D r15. A vulnerability exists that can allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to vulnerabilities inherent in the Tomcat and Axis2 3rd party software components. CA Technologies has issued the following patch to address the vulnerability: RO26040.

CA ARCserve® D2D R16 Alpha Program
CA Technologies is pleased to invite readers of the CA Tech Insider - CA Recovery Management newsletter to participate in the CA ARCserve D2D R16 Alpha program. Your participation offers you the ability to validate CA ARCserve D2D R16 Alpha in your own environment, allowing you to give us feedback on product enhancements, quality, and the Alpha/Beta Program.

Your contribution to this critical product test cycle is directly related to the success of the generally available (GA) release of CA products and ensures we deliver solutions that are ready to meet your real-world requirements. Please visit the CA ARCserve® Beta Center to participate in the Open Registration for our R16 Alpha Release. Upon registration, you will be sent an email that details the features included in the R16 release.

You are invited to participate in one or more of the CA ARCserve r16 Beta Programs. Your participation offers you the ability to validate individual products or the full CA ARCserve Family of Products in your own environment:

  • CA ARCserve® Backup - Beta in progress. Sign up now!
  • CA ARCserve® D2D - Beta coming in mid-February 2011
  • CA ARCserve® Replication and High Availability - Beta coming in late February 2011
  • CA ARCserve® Data Management Applications - Betas coming in March 2011

Come check out our CA ARCserve D2D r16 Beta which includes new support for cloud storage and many enhancements around performance, granular recovery and manageability. As a participant in the Beta Program, you will communicate directly with the Beta Research and Development team to investigate and address any reported problems, questions, or comments.
