About the International Case Competition

The International Case Competition on Strategic Value of IT Management is a global case competition that brings together top students in business and information technology (IT) to demonstrate and evaluate the Strategic Value of IT Management for an organization.

Student teams are provided with a case study challenge that must be addressed with a combination of solid business reasoning and in-depth knowledge of the IT infrastructure. The teams must research the issue and prepare a formal presentation of their recommendations on how to adapt and align technology to better support the customer’s business environment. Each team is comprised of three graduate students with at least one student pursuing a degree in information technology (IT) or information systems (IS).

The judging panel consists of business and technology experts from both academia and industry. Complete anonymity is ensured throughout the judging period.
