The Council for Technical Excellence (CTE) was formed in 2006 to create a technology think tank within CA Technologies. Its mission was to help create and sustain a culture of innovation by:
- Encouraging the development of a unified, global technology community that bridges functional, product, and geographic boundaries, and
- Leveraging its cross-organizational network to create innovative solutions to technical questions that require a diverse set of skills and perspectives, and cross-organizational consensus where applicable.
The CTE operates under the guidance of its Board of Governors: CA Technologies CEO and other executive managers. The CTE is comprised of employees of CA Technologies who are selected based on their exceptional technical expertise, leadership and business acumen. Members collaborate on projects that position CA Technologies as an innovator and leader in the market, with both inspired thinking and practical applications.
The CTE brings a valuable perspective that crosses geographies, products and technical disciplines, and is involved in identifying key trends and developing important insights well in advance of their impact in the marketplace.
