Phillip J. Harrington, Jr.
& Chief Administrative Officer
As executive vice president, risk, and chief administrative officer, Phil Harrington is responsible for human resources, information technology, administrative services, risk management, education and government relations globally at CA Technologies. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Management Team. He joined the company in 2010.
Previously, Phil was a director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he served clients in the areas of general management consulting, risk management and regulation. He also was lead client service partner to a strategic advisory client of the firm, overseeing the provision of all professional services.
Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche in 2008, Phil spent 20 years at Prudential Financial, Inc. where he held a number of senior management positions, including global risk officer, chief compliance officer, and vice president of government relations. He also served as interim head of the company’s $3.5 billion revenue group insurance business.
Earlier in his career, Phil was a Legislative Fellow and assistant in the New York State Senate. He has served on several industry boards and committees and presently serves as a trustee of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science degree from Cornell University.
