Relaxing office areas support a culture of health and well-being
CA Technologies is committed to encouraging a healthy workplace for employees. Since June 2009, the company has provided an array of health and wellness classes, presentations and information to employees and their family members through the Balance Your Life Health and Wellness Program, and have begun to change the landscape of what good health means – physically, emotionally and financially.
In line with these goals, CA Technologies is establishing wellness rooms in most offices across North America.
“Providing a great environment, the right support and respect for employees are just a few of the things we’re doing to make CA Technologies an even better place to work,” explained Beth Conway, Vice President, Human Resources.
These rooms provide a private, comfortable space for nursing moms, and offer employees a quiet spot for prayer, attending to personal medical needs or other health-and wellness-related purposes.
“The wellness rooms are an exciting extension of our health and wellness program,” concluded Lisa Mars, Vice President, Global Benefits. “By offering employees a place to regroup we hope to foster a healthier, more productive work environment.”
