Action contre la Faim

Through fundraising events in France, CA Technologies supports Action contre la Faim (Action Against Hunger) an organization that helps to combat hunger, diseases and disasters that threaten the lives of vulnerable children, women and men worldwide.

 

AdoptaPlatoon

AdoptaPlatoon is a volunteer based nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for U.S. service men and women. CA Technologies funding supports AdoptaPlatoon's Walking Wounded Project, which assists troops injured in Iraq and Afghanistan as they move from military hospitals to the civilian world.

 

 

American Red Cross

CA Technologies supports the American Red Cross and the organization’s disaster relief programs for people and communities in need. This includes response to floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, wildfires and other natural disasters around the world.

 

 

Habitat for Humanity

For more than a decade CA Technologies has supported Habitat for Humanity. In addition to fully sponsoring a home each year for a family in need, employees regularly participate in Habitat builds around the world, assisting the organization with their mission to eliminate poverty and homelessness.

 

 

Hospital for Special Surgery

In 2010 the company pledged $5 million to the Hospital for Special Surgery to create the CA Technologies Rehabilitation Center at Lerner Children's Pavilion. The expanded rehabilitation complex more than doubled the space of the old facility and houses cutting edge equipment designed to help children with impaired mobility develop their endurance. CA Technologies funding also supports the hospital’s Pediatric Outreach Program, which brings musculoskeletal screening to underserved children in New York City.

 

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

CA Technologies supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Employees participate in Light The Night Walks and other fundraising efforts, helping to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer.

 

North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System

In 2005, the company made a $12 million, 10-year pledge to North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System to establish the CA Technologies Pediatric Wellness Center at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York. As the heart of this leading children's teaching hospital, the wellness center is a 20,000-square foot, glass-domed atrium space that provides a quiet respite, featuring multifunctional seating areas, an art gallery and an all-season environment for performances, educational programs, games and other activities. The area is designed to improve children's health and well-being, while relieving the anxiety of a hospital visit. CA Technologies also contributed to the 5,900-square-foot addition to the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and The Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress.

 

The Prince's Trust

CA Technologies is a member of The Prince's Trust Technology Leadership Group, a corporate social responsibility initiative for businesses and individuals from the UK technology, media and telecom industries. The organization was founded in 1976 by The Prince of Wales to help young people in need.

 

The Smith Family

Since 2003, CA Technologies has supported The Smith Family, an organization in Australia that helps underprivileged children and families create a better future through education. In addition to providing funding for the organization’s Technology Packs Program, which helps enrich the lives of young people through technology, employees regularly give their time through fundraising and volunteer efforts.
