The Remediation Power Pack allows users to invoke Incident Remediation processes based on failed job(s) in CA AutoSys. The solution allows remediation and optionally creates a Service Desk ticket.
The default remediation is notification of job failure to the specified users through e-mails and optional re-run of the failed job. In addition there are provisions for hooking-in customized remediation processes. Features of the Power Pack include multiple options for invoking remediation, the ability to run a job in the configured AutoSys Instance, and then run the remediation process for a single job through CA Process Automation, the ability to run the remediation process for multiple jobs, and user configurable SNMP traps.
