CA Technologies offers a series of exams designed to measure an individual’s skills and knowledge to successfully manage, administer, install, configure, and implement CA Technologies products.
Offered in two forms – either as a Certification or as an Accreditation – our exams, coupled with their associated training courses, help provide management teams the confidence that their CA Technologies solutions are being handled by knowledgeable professionals.
Exams are the most common mechanism used to measure an individual’s skills, knowledge and expertise about CA Technologies products. Our exam options are designed to enable flexibility based upon the goals of each student.
For this reason, CA Technologies offers exams in two formats - Certification and Accreditation. Certification exams are offered for those products that serve as the backbone to the overall CA Technologies solutions suite. Accreditation exams are offered for all other supporting solutions.
What’s the difference between Certification and Accreditation?
It’s all about the physical exam environment. Accreditation exams offer a flexible testing environment in which the student can access training materials, references guides, etc. throughout the testing process. Likewise, there are no limitations on their physical location. In contrast, Certification exams involve a proctored exam, administered by an impartial party without the use of reference materials during the exam.
