What is CA Workload Automation?
It is an advanced job scheduling solution that can help you simply define, validate, and automate workload across distributed, mainframes, ERP Systems, and application services, etc. The architecture of CA Workload Automation is not bound by rigid job scheduling methodologies, allowing you to automate the triggering of workload as the business activity requires it.
What job scheduling challenges does it meet?
CA Workload Automation was designed to adapt to the dynamic needs of today’s businesses and can trigger workload into the system based on granular business events like a change in a database value, a Java message arriving, an SAP event, a file arrival, etc. It has the flexibility to allow for variations in processing requirements that enable dynamic processing decisions to be made automatically.

What platforms does it support?
It can be installed on Windows, Unix or Linux as the server engine with High Availability. Agents are supported for mainframes using the z/OS agent or the Microfocus Agent. IBM iSeries, Tandem, PeopleSoft, Oracle E-Business Suite, and SAP systems, as well as various databases (Oracle, DB2, and SQLserver) and Application Services agents are also supported.
