Mr. Dalkilic is one of the more professionally advanced recipients of the Mainframe Acadmey scholarship with experience in common mainframe system parts such as maintenance, tape environments, workload scheduling, OS upgrades and system performance. He plans to use the scholarship in order to expand his knowledge beyond these disciplines and learn more advanced topics around the mainframe architecture to help further his future career opportunities.

Turkey
A graduate of Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul, Turkey, Mr. Tecimer is a former recipient of the 2011 SHARE Academic Award for his submission on a project on the MVS Tool. daniela-ferreira-de-paiva
Daniela Ferreira de Paiva
Systems Analyst
BRQ IT Services
In her current role as a Systems Analyst at BRQ IT Services, Daniela is responsible for the analysis and development of mainframe applications for large banks. She is an ambitious, young professional in the fast-growing mainframe ecosystem of Brazil.

As a fan of the mainframe, Daniela made the career decision to focus on the mainframe platform, as opposed to .NET or Java, which shows her dedication and commitment to the environment.

She has pursued greater awareness of mainframe technology but was challenged by the costs associated with the mainframe training available in Brazil. To ensure she’s up to speed with the technology, she conducts online research, including participating in mainframe forums. She plans to apply the knowledge she will gain from Mainframe Academy to improve her skills, grow her career, and meet other mainframe professionals.
Clinton Woodson
Infra Engineering Intern, GE Aviation
United States
Mr. Woodson will graduate from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a double major in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. He plans to leverage the education he gains from the Mainframe Academy to provide hands-on experience and knowledge of the ever-growing field of mainframe, which is a specialized area of study.
Congratulations to Faik, Tanya, Ahmet, Daniela and Clinton.
