CA Technologies has launched its Data Center Infrastructure Management 4.0 (CA DCIM) that will help in monitoring, managing and optimising the use of power, cooling, space and assets in the data centre.
The new release will enable customers to collect power and environmental information from data centre facilities and IT systems in order to analyse, report, alert and control the data centre environment.
It also helps decision-makers understand energy consumption and use, visualise data centre space, place and locate data centre assets, manage asset lifecycle, perform root-cause analysis and plan capacity.
With DCIM 4.0, customers can integrate the management of their data centre infrastructure with the management of IT to meet the needs of the business.
