CA Technologies and ECS Team to Drive Cloud Adoption in China

Beijing, December 27, 2011 – CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) today announced a new partnership with ECS Technology (China) Ltd. (ECS) to promote cloud adoption in the commercial, retail, government, finance, insurance and manufacturing industries. In particular, the companies will provide technical support for cloud adoption in China and help deliver Business Service Innovation by enabling new levels of speed, innovation, performance and cost/risk efficiencies. This will allow local firms to realize the full benefit of cloud computing and accelerate time to market with agile business services that deliver innovation, business value and competitive advantage.

As a leading IT distributor in Asia for more than 20 years, develops extensive sales networks and has built relationships with more than 9,000 channel partners. ECS focuses its business in China on the distribution of  storage, database and management software and networking products.

In order to promote cloud adoption, CA Technologies and ECS will work together to build a cloud test and development environment. Using leading cloud, virtualization and automation solutions such as the CA AppLogic® turnkey cloud computing platform, the companies will create a program involving internal learning and customer visits to allow more customers to experience the business agility achieved by CA Technologies solutions.
