Database Management r12 for DB2 for z/OS

CA has announced the latest release of its mainframe database management solutions, CA Database Management r12 for DB2 for z/OS. This new release makes complex database management tasks simple. Across DB2 performance management, administration and backup and recovery, the solution’s capabilities provide superior control of DB2 environments while minimizing the load on IT resources such as CPU, DASD, memory and personnel.

This latest release delivers enhanced information matched with the powerful functionality needed for managing complex DB2 systems and applications while extending DB2 version support and ease of use. It includes features and enhancements that provide even greater levels of control ─ executed either through automation when appropriate, powerful manual control when desired or delivered through software-assisted control where the solution expertly guides a user through a task.
