SVP, Regional Services
As Senior Vice President, Services for CA Asia Pacific, Japan and Global Delivery, Darren Reid is responsible for the sales, delivery and operations of CA’s technical consulting services and education in these regions. He also has responsibility for our off-shore and near-shoring operations in Europe, North America and Asia. In this role, Darren is focused on ensuring that CA clients receive the maximum benefit, in the shortest timeframe, from their investment in CA software products.
Darren’s global team of nearly 600 technical experts is at the forefront of innovating the design and deployment of client solutions underpinned by CA Technologies world-leading software products.
A key element of Darren’s organization is the delivery of Run-and-Operate Services Offerings that support CA software. This team is focused on delivering rapid time to value by enabling our clients to derive immediate business value without being concerned about running unfamiliar products.
Darren has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry in areas such as sales, marketing, technical support and professional services. Having served IBM Australia for 14 years, Darren became Regional Services Executive for the IBM Software Group in Australia and New Zealand in 2006. In this role, he was responsible for a professional services business with three primary lines of business—consulting, education and support—and annual revenues of US$42 million.
Other positions Darren has held include Regional Delivery Manager at IBM Software Group, Manager of Enterprise Services and Field Enablement at Lotus Professional Services, and Asia Pacific Product Manager and Senior Systems Engineer at Lotus Software.
