Product Support Announcement

Dear AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems Customers:

Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. Our new AllFusion (formerly Advantage) Repository for Distributed Systems Release 2.2 is now GA (Generally Available) for well over 3 months. At this time, as is customary with the introduction of a new release, we are also announcing that we will be discontinuing support for an older release of the AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems. This means that technical support for AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems Release 2.0 will continue through September 30, 2005. This product was previously known as Platinum Repository Open Enterprise Edition Release 2.0.

Technical support for Release 2.1 of AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems will continue to be provided for the foreseeable future.

CA would like to help make your upgrade to the latest release of AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems as straightforward and successful as possible. Therefore to assist you, we are offering the following:

  • A no charge upgrade from AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems Release 2.1 to AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems Release 2.2, for any customer with an active maintenance contract.

  • CA Services is available to assist in any or all parts of the migration, including analysis of the current system, preparation for the migration, testing, and performing the migration itself. For more information please outline your needs at http://www3.ca.com/services.

  • CA is committed to providing success and value to our clients with our technology solutions. We are pleased to announce Lifeline Services - an Extended Support Services option from CA. For more information, North American customers should send an Email to LifeLineSupport@ca.com and International customers should contact their local CA office using the country information available at http://ca.com/camap.htm
