General Availability Announcement

Today, CA is pleased to announce the availability of CA ERwin r9.2 Modeling products which includes the following CA ERwin Data Modeler editions: CA ERwin Data Modeler Standard Edition, CA ERwin Data Modeler Workgroup Edition, CA ERwin Data Modeler Navigator Edition and CA ERwin Data Modeler Community Edition as well as an updated release of CA ERwin Web Portal.

Based on feedback received from customers in the CA ERwin Modeling user community, this product release incorporates updates to Oracle database support, additional object lineage support capabilities and general product fixes and other maintenance. Some specific highlights included with this product release are:

  • CA ERwin Modeling (all commercial product editions)
    • Database currency - Oracle 11g feature exploitation and enhanced User Interface
    • Split user NOTES and model object HISTORY items
    • Object-level lineage improvements
    • Enhanced Korean language support
    • Updated metadata import/export bridges (v7.1)
    • Upgraded ODBC driver capabilities
    • Updated JAVA (v1.7)
  • CA ERwin Web Portal
    • User interface improvements
    • Improved object lineage tracing
