    In addition it is supported to run DSM agent on a system running ESX.

    MDB Support on Oracle Database

    In addition to the certified platforms listed in compatibility matrix for the MDB, the Oracle database is supported via remote installation and ITCM can support the hosting of the MDB on the Oracle Database on any operating system that Oracle supports this version of the RDBMS on. However, CA support may not have access to specific platforms other than those certified and may need to analyze issues raised using one of the certified database platforms listed above. Regardless of which operating system is used for the remote Oracle installation, only the certified release of Oracle is supported.
