Microsoft XP Service Pack 2 - Same Date Support
for AllFusion Distributed Products

CA is proud to announce same day support for the following Distributed products within the AllFusion Business Unit. In preparation, the AllFusion Business Unit has been running quality assurance tests on our products to ensure the compatibility with XP Service Pack 2. The table below indicates any known impacts to our products and associated solutions.

Full certification of Windows XP SP2 is expected for AllFusion Harvest Change Manager 5.2.1 SP1. Windows XP SP2 is a supported environment for AllFusion Harvest Change Manager 5.2.1. AllFusion Repository for Distributed Systems 2.2 Repository Client cannot connect to the Repository Engine with Firewall turned on. Client returns message "Database Error: Failed to open connection to server. Please verify TCP/IP address and port number of server."     Trying to access Data Shopper that resides on an XP machine, with the Windows Firewall turned on, the user gets a message "Cannot Find Server or DNS error due to Port 80 being closed." This problem can be resolved by deselecting the option "Don't allow Exceptions" and enter the name and the port 80.
