End of Service Announcement for BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1

Dear Valued BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1 Customer,

CA is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. As an ongoing effort to continually improve our software and w ith the current availability of CA ARCserve Backup r12, support for BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1 is currently scheduled to be discontinued 6 months from now in connection with such release.

If you are a customer using BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1 with an active maintenance contract, you will be given the option to upgrade to CA ARCserve Backup r12 free of charge.

If you are a customer using BrightStor ARCserve Backup for Windows r11.1 without an active maintenance contract, you are eligible for a discount to purchase CA ARCserve Backup r12.

Please note that the CA ARCserve Backup r12 migration offer will expire on March 31, 2009.

At this time, if you are a customer using BrightStor ARCserve for Windows r11.1, we encourage you to migrate to CA ARCserve Backup r12. Migrating to this product release as soon as possible will enable uninterrupted support and benefits of the latest features and enhancements this release has to offer.

CA ARCserve Backup r12 delivers enterprise-class data protection, advanced security and centralized management that enable you to take control of your environment, improve efficiency and improve overall protection. For additional information on CA ARCserve Backup r12 visit ca.com/arcserve.
