Subject: End of Service Announcement for CA Hyper-Buf VSAM Buffer Optimizer 4.3.1 and 11.0

CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with our CA Support Policy and Terms (http://support.ca.com), please consider this letter your minimum 18 months notification that we are discontinuing support for CA Hyper-Buf VSAM Buffer Optimizer Release 4.3.1 and 11.0 beginning February 01, 2013. This will allow our Development organization to effectively focus its resources on and add value to CA Hyper-Buf VSAM Buffer Optimizer Release 11.5.

At this time, we encourage you to plan for the migration to CA Hyper-Buf VSAM Buffer Optimizer Release 11.5 as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the latest new feature this release has to offer. As part of a CA company-wide initiative, CA Hyper-Buf VSAM Buffer Optimizer Release 11.5 has been enhanced to simplify the installation of the product by utilizing the standardization and automation methods introduced with the CA Mainframe Software Manager (CA MSM) solution.
