CleverPath Reporter 3.2 and earlier Support Expiration Scheduled

Dear valued DecisionBase Reporter client:

Now that DecisionBase Reporter 3.4 has been released, we are sending you this Product Information Bulletin (PIB) to notify you about changes in the technical support provided for DecisionBase Reporter.

Computer Associates will continue to provide support for clients who are using versions 3.4 and prior of DecisionBase Reporter and hold an active maintenance contract. Support for versions 3.2 and prior, however, will be limited after 12/31/2001.

It is important that you understand what these support changes mean. Clients with versions 3.2 and prior should upgrade to the latest release in order to continue receiving support-though; of course, CA will still provide telephone (Level 1) support to help clients upgrade their software.

For clients with version 3.3 and prior, CA will continue to provide Level 1 telephone support. Any new bugs that may be discovered in these releases will be investigated, and the Level 2 support manager will determine if fixing the release is warranted. These bugs will be corrected in the current GA release of DecisionBase Reporter; the fix will not be retrofitted to the prior release. Also, new releases of supporting software-databases, operating system, communication software, etc.-will only be supported in the current GA release after verification. Support for these items will not be provided for in prior releases.

For these reasons, we would like to encourage you to upgrade to the latest release of DecisionBase Reporter in order to ensure uninterrupted support for all your issues.
