CleverPath Reporter Motif client Stabilization Scheduled

Dear valued DecisionBase Reporter client:

We are sending you this Product Information Bulletin (PIB) to notify you about changes in the software support provided for DecisionBase Reporter.

Computer Associates has decided to functionally stabilize the Motif version of DecisionBase Reporter client at release level 3.4.1. Functionally stabilizing the Motif version means that the product will no longer be enhanced and the maintenance and support for the Motif version of DecisionBase Reporter will continue until 12/31/02 or through the end of your current maintenance or licensing term, whichever is greater.

Support for the Unix versions of the DecisionBase Reporter server are unaffected. Future versions of the DecisionBase Reporter server will be able to run reports created by the Motif version of the DecisionBase Reporter client 3.4.1.

Future releases of the Windows version of the DecisionBase Reporter client will continue. The next release of the Windows version of the DecisionBase Reporter client will be version 4.0.

For these reasons, we would like to encourage you to contact Computer Associates at 631-342-5858 to obtain a free copy of the Windows version of the DecisionBase Reporter client. Reports definitions (.rep files) are compatible between Motif and Windows so they can be easily moved to the Windows platform.
