Add Our Email Address to Your Safe Senders List

As one of our valued customers, we’d like to ensure our emails continue to reach your inbox and display correctly. Please add our email address (info@la-ca-mail.com) to your safe sender list/address book in your email client.

If you are unsure how to do this, please click on the relevant email client link(s) below to view instructions.

Microsoft® Outlook 2003

In your email from CA Technologies:

  1. Open the email you received from us.
  2. Click on the Actions menu on the top of your email window.
  3. Choose Junk Email.
  4. Select Add Senders Domain.... to Safe Senders List to add CA Technologies to your safe sender list.

Microsoft® Outlook 2007

  1. Open the email you received from us.
  2. Click Options on the Tools menu.
  3. On the Preferences tab, under Email, click Junk E-mail.
  4. Select Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab and click Add.
  5. Enter the email address of the contact (info@la-ca-mail.com) and click OK.

Microsoft® Outlook 2010

  1. Open the email you received from us.
  2. Click on Junk on the left-hand side in the menu bar.
  3. Select Never Block Senders Domain in the dropdown.

Microsoft® Outlook Express 6

  1. Open the email.
  2. Left-click the sender icon or right-click the sender’s name.
  3. Click Add to contact.
  4. Click Save and Close.

AOL® 8.0+

  1. Open the email you received from us.
  2. Click Add Address.
  3. Confirm our email address (info@la-ca-mail.com).
  4. Click Save.

AOL® Webmail

  1. Open the email you received from us.
  2. Click on the sender’s name and email address.
  3. Click Add to Address Book in the window that appears.
  4. Enter any additional contact information.
  5. Click Save.

MSN Hotmail® Classic

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click Save Address in the menu bar.
  3. Verify that our contact information is correct.
  4. Click OK on the next screen.

Windows Live™ Mail

Adding to the Address Book doesn’t automatically add a sender to the Safe Sender list; you must mark the sender as Safe.

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click on the Mark as Safe link at the top of the email.

Yahoo!®

Add to Address Book

  1. Open the email.
  2. Select the Add to Address Book link or + symbol next to the email sender name.
  3. Enter/verify our email address in the contact field (info@la-ca-mail.com).
  4. Click Save/Save Contact.

Junk Mail Folder—Report as Not Spam

  1. Check your Yahoo! Bulk folder.
  2. Locate the email from CA Technologies and highlight it.
  3. Click Not Spam.

Gmail™

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click on More Options in the upper right-hand corner of the message.
  3. Click on Add (sender name) to Contacts list.
  4. A confirmation message will be displayed above the email.

EarthLink™

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click Add Sender.
  3. Verify that our contact information is correct (info@la-ca-mail.com).
  4. Click Yes.

Mozilla Thunderbird™

  1. Click the Address Book button.
  2. Make sure the Personal Address Book is highlighted.
  3. Click the New Card button.
  4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste our email address (info@la-ca-mail.com).
  5. Click OK.

Entourage®

  1. Open the email.
  2. Right-click the sender’s email address.
  3. Select Add to Address Book in the shortcut menu.
  4. Verify that our contact information is correct (info@la-ca-mail.com).

Mac Mail

  1. Open the email.
  2. Right-click the sender’s email address.
  3. Select Add to Address Book in the shortcut menu.
  4. Click Save and Close.

AT&T

  1. Open the email.
  2. Click on the Save Address link next to the From Address.
  3. Check the Add to Contacts box and click Save.

Barracuda Networks

Whitelist Quarantined Senders

  1. Open your email client. Barracuda should send you a summary each day listing quarantined items.
  2. Choose the most recent Barracuda email message.
  3. Locate the email from CA Technologies that you do not want quarantined in the future.
  4. Click on the word Whitelist, which is in green print to the right of the email title. This will open your list in a web browser.
  5. Click the box to the left of the email that you would like to whitelist.
  6. At the top of the page, click Whitelist.
  7. Barracuda will not block or quarantine the sender whose email address appears on the whitelist.

Whitelist Senders and Domains

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to your company’s Barracuda firewall homepage.
  2. Click on the Block/Accept tab.
  3. Choose either Sender Domain Block/Accept or Email Sender Block/Accept.
  4. If Sender Domain Block/Accept: click on the Sender Domain Block/Accept tab.
  5. Enter the domain name ca.com to allow all CA Technologies email addresses. You may add a comment to remind you why you allowed this.
  6. Click Add.
  7. If Email Sender Block/Accept: click on the Email Sender Block/Accept tab.
  8. Enter the CA Technologies email address that you wish to whitelist (info@la-ca-mail.com).
  9. Click Add.
  10. In the future, Barracuda will not block emails from this sender.

Cloudmark® SpamNet

  1. Select Cloudmark | Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Go to the Whitelist tab.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. Type: info@la-ca-mail.com.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Yes.
  9. Click OK.

Comcast®

  1. Click on the link at the top of the message (next to the From Address).
  2. For the field titled First Name, enter CA Technologies.
  3. Click Save Entry.

McAfee® SpamKiller®

  1. Select Friends from the McAfee SpamKiller sidebar.
  2. Click Add a friend.
  3. Make sure All users at a domain is selected under Friend type.
  4. Type the domain name you want to whitelist under Address: la-ca-mail.com.
  5. Optionally, enter CA Technologies to help you recognize the domain under Name.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK.

Norton AntiSpam™

  1. Start up Norton AntiSpam.
  2. Click the Status & Settings tab.
  3. Click AntiSpam.
  4. Click Configure.
  5. Click Allowed List tab.
  6. Click Add.
  7. In the Email Address box, enter info@la-ca-mail.com.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click OK.

Postini®

  1. Log into your Postini account.
  2. Look to see if any email from info@la-ca-mail.com is listed in your Junk area.
  3. If you find email from info@la-ca-mail.com in the Junk area, check the checkbox next to the email.
  4. Click the Deliver Selected link at the very top of the Junk screen.
  5. On the next screen, click the Approve Sender checkbox next to the email from info@la-ca-mail.com.
  6. Click the Approve Selected Senders button.

SpamAssassin

  1. Add the following entry to your user_prefs file, which is found in the .spamassassin subdirectory on your web/mail server: Whitelist_from info@la-ca-mail.com.
  2. Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your .spamassassin subdirectory.

SPAMfighter

  1. Highlight the email from CA Technologies with the email address info@la-ca-mail.com.
  2. Click More in the SPAMfighter toolbar and select Whitelist.
  3. Here you can choose if you want to whitelist the email address info@la-ca-mail.com or the whole domain @la-ca-mail.com.

Trend Micro™

Add the sender to the list of Approved Senders

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
  2. Click the Spam Mail folder, then select the email from CA Technologies detected as spam.
  3. Click Approve Sender on the toolbar.
  4. Click Yes when the confirmation message appears.

Decrease the Spam Email Filter Strength

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.
  2. Click Trend Micro Anti-Spam, then click Settings.
  3. On the Spam Filter tab, move the slider bar to select a lower filter strength.
  4. Click OK to save your settings.

Others

  1. If Email Best Practices are being filtered, try adding info@la-ca-mail.com to your Address Book or Contact list.
  2. If messages continue to be sent to your junk folder, contact your ISP or spam filter application support and ask how to whitelist info@la-ca-mail.com.
