Paul Lipton runs the Industry Standards and Open Source Program within CA Technologies, and is responsible for the company’s overall success in industry standards, industry consortiums and open source. He represents CA Technologies as a leader in numerous standards and open source organizations including the Board of Directors of the DMTF, OASIS, OMG and the Eclipse Foundation. Paul also serves on Advisory Committee of the W3C and also serves in a wide range of technical and governance committees in many organizations.

Paul has been an architect and developer of enterprise systems for over 20 years. He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, a Sun Java Champion and a founding member of the CA Council for Technical Excellence where he leads a team focused on leveraging social computing in support of the CA Technologies corporate strategy process.
