5 Ways Space Tech Is Transforming the Enterprise
Space technology is bringing some of the final frontier back to the enterprise business.

NASA is a renowned hotbed of innovation, and many of those innovations—from ski boots to camera phones—have made their way to consumers through the agency’s technology transfer program. This program, designed to commercialize space technologies through licensing, is so popular that NASA publishes its own magazine, “Spinoff” to highlight the biggest successes.
While consumer-level technologies are best known, NASA’s work has also made its way to the enterprise through the same program—and some of it is changing the very fabric of business as we know it. Here’s a look at five of those technologies, what they do for NASA—and how they’ve been adopted by the enterprise.
