CA Recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for APM
CA recognized for ability to execute and completeness of vision in application performance monitoring market
Gartner has named CA Technologies a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring Suites. We believe this recognition validates our strong vision and speed to deliver innovation that meets the demands of our customers and uniquely addresses market pressures. Several years ago, we recognized that many APM solutions were not built to meet the new demands of modern technologies and challenges introduced by digital transformations. Just like many of our customers, we too embarked on a digital transformation, delivering new patent-pending innovations, analytics, and a full-stack monitoring SaaS platform that helps DevOps organizations to succeed in understanding and delivering the best customer experience.
We see the boundaries of APM expanding well beyond traditional metric and transaction monitoring. While these capabilities form the foundation of most APM tools today, we see customers struggling with broader problems such as digitally transforming legacy business practices using agile, DevOps, continuous delivery, container monitoring and Digital Experience Monitoring. To help customers successfully achieve these objectives, APM tools must go beyond the confines of traditional monitoring of production applications to become an integral part of the software delivery lifecycle—to identify problems earlier and to enable continuous optimization across various development and testing phases. A significant portion of our ongoing and future engineering investments are directed toward building integrations with modern technologies, digital platforms, analytics, AppDev, testing and release-automation tools. We are fully leveraging our corporate presence in API management, Security, Automation and Continuous Delivery businesses to create a compelling and highly differentiated solution that seamlessly bridges the gap between the worlds of application development and performance monitoring.
This year we released, CA Digital Experience Insights, a unified SaaS platform offering customers a user-experience centric set of integrated services to monitor the entire digital-service chain—all the way from users’ mobile devices to business transactions, and correlated to infrastructure health and usage. As we continue to build the next generation analytics platform, unifying the visibility across business and technical stakeholders through shared business insights is one of our key priorities. Too much of today’s business insight is predicated on the need for business users manually define context into their applications. Users shouldn’t have to define their conversion funnels and pipelines manually; the system should be able to detect them through simple goal definitions and perform automated analyses to generate business insights. We believe that we have the right solutions in place to offer a full stack monitoring and the analytic insights that will help to align IT with business outcomes.
CA Application Performance Management is today one of the most compelling products in the market — catering to a much larger audience with a highly-differentiated set of capabilities, built for the largest scale our customers need. We continue to receive resounding positive feedback from our customers for our strategy and vision. We are building on this leadership with continued speed and innovation.
It is with deep gratitude that I want to thank each and every one of you in Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, Marketing, Support, Sales, Pre-sales, SaaS Ops, SWAT, program management, finance, legal, and every function who contributed to making CA APM a leader. Kudos and congrats to the team!
