Twitter highlights from CA World 2017 Day 1

Check out what went on in the show floor on the first day of CA World 2017 in Las Vegas.

The annual CA World conference kicked off today in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the crowds gathered in the Mandalay Bay conference center, Twitter started buzzing about the event. Check out our little recap of what went on in the show floor in the Twitter reactions round-up below!

CA Technologies CEO Mike Gregoire started the official program for the day with a keynote, where he elaborated how companies can move from innovation to execution with CA’s blueprint for innovation, the Modern Software Factory. Read our blog post of the keynote.

Mike was joined on stage by professional mountaineer Jimmy Chin, who recently climbed the impossible Mount Meru with his team.

A few weeks previously Mike and Jimmy had actually gone climbing together!

After the keynote it was time to move to the exhibition area to explore the demos.

 

Visitors were able to admire the new IBMz.

Donuts were available…

…as well as old and new friends!

The Accelerator zone showcasing CA’s new innovations was buzzing.

There were tech talks and panels.

The Women’s Forum event drew a crowd of female tech influencers to network with each other.

At the social media booth, people were able to try out new styles and get photographic evidence of them.
