Latest in NetOps Fault and Performance Monitoring for Cisco Meraki
CA NetOps 19.1 expands its technology coverage to support fault and performance monitoring of Cisco Meraki cloud-based wireless networks.
Simple Network Management Protocol or SNMP has been the driving force behind strides made in the monitoring world. In years gone by, an expert in SNMP and traditional wired and wireless networks was in high demand and always had control over the network. Typically, they relied on a single tool or application to serve the purposes for monitoring and troubleshooting. The “ping” was the “panacea” which kept trouble at bay.
Networks today are evolved and continuously changing with virtual devices, software-defined architectures and cloud-based controller-less wireless networks. All these technologies add several layers of complexity, force the use of separate tools and demand for expertise beyond traditional SNMP.
NetOps 19.1 introduces support for Cisco Meraki WiFi across fault and performance. Our solution provides inventory and fault information from CA Spectrum and network performance from CA Performance Management. All of these network monitoring metrics are unified in the NetOps portal where we provide a single pane view for easy intelligence into the health of your Cisco Meraki WIFI networks starting with alarms for fault isolation and performance metrics for cloud controller and access points.
From the NetOps portal Operators have the ability to open the CA Spectrum OneClick console for detailed fault analysis.
With CA NetOps 19.1, our NetOps platform provides Operators with seamless support for Cisco Meraki WiFi monitoring including support for events, alarms and performance enabling simple administrations and enhanced intelligence of modern architectures via one operational dashboard.
