Sarah said; “It’s an honour to join the techUK board. Our aim to make the UK a leader in both the development and use of digital technology for the benefit of the economy and its citizens is critical in the current application economy. As the use of technology becomes integral to business, every company is becoming a software company. We must do all we can to ensure that the UK is developing and attracting the top talent in this field.”
techUK represents the companies and technologies that are defining today the world that we will live in tomorrow. More than 850 companies are members, and collectively they employ approximately 700,000 people, about half of all tech sector jobs in the UK. These companies range from leading FTSE 100 companies to new innovative start-ups. techUK helps these businesses by helping both them, and the sector, to grow.
The role of techUK’s board is to establish and deliver the vision and strategic objectives to improve the environment in which techUK’s members do business, promoting their interests and providing them with high value services.
