The 451 Take: CA BlazeMeter used the Velocity Conference in San Jose to unveil a handful of new capabilities. It was able to execute this development in less than a year since being acquired by CA. This is a good sign that CA is investing in CA BlazeMeter, and enabling the business to pursue its vision. CA told 451 that it was interested in learning from its acquisition, rather than imposing its traditional thinking and model on the company – a strategy that demonstrates CA's interest in adopting modern technologies (including open source software) and methods. CA said it deployed a team of its own developers to work with the CA BlazeMeter team to build some of the new capabilities, indicating that the two groups were able to work together well.
