CA Automation Healthcheck assesses performance, stability, automation coverage and adoption of the AE solution system and provides assistance to organizations to improve these areas.
The assessment includes detailed analysis of your organization’s existing installation: hardware, OS, database(s) and possibly other third-party automation tools across the configuration for AE servers, agents and utilities. Working with your team, CA Services gathers and analyzes data regarding the handling of automation, the type(s) and number of processes and, optionally, historical graphical data to detect legacy issues and peak loads. Finally, the team may also isolate cross-dependencies for faulty activities.
From this analytical data, CA Services will document findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
CA Automation Healthcheck can be performed at any time, such as months after the initial deployment to production, coincidental to a significant environment change or expansion of automation, or when the organization estimates that solution performance is no longer optimal. For example, it is advisable to perform a health check if your organization has added applications, has substantially increased the volume of data processed or is seeking additional efficiencies from automation.
The two-day on-site engagement requires access to the AE system, database and network to collect relevant configuration and pertinent customer data. The CA Services team will analyze and develop recommendations off-site, then deliver the report with findings and recommendations to stakeholders shortly after the on-site engagement.
