How AI and machine learning can reduce operational complexity and speed remediation

In this virtual summit, you’ll get the real-world expertise and hands-on guidance available only from the industry’s brightest minds in AI, machine learning and analytics.

With the rise of modern architectures that are required to support digital business initiatives, it is imperative that you have comprehensive visibility coupled with AI and machine learning. That means normalizing, correlating and analyzing massive volumes of IT operational data across your entire digital delivery chain to speed service delivery, increase IT efficiency and deliver a superior user experience.

Successful digital transformation requires AIOps. It enables IT teams to automatically analyze large volumes of digital data—making it easier to solve hard problems. It’s operational intelligence across user, app, API, infra and network services. It’s cross-tier correlated insights, machine learning and predictive analytics.

Achieving Autonomous Operations through AI and Machine Learning >

Achieving Autonomous Operations through AI and Machine Learning
Ashok Reddy, Group General Manager, DevOps, CA Technologies

Artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies are becoming mainstream components of DevOps and customers are adopting AI first strategies to build AI native architectures and applications. Currently, operating mobile and cloud (which are deterministic) software requires basic hosting, monitoring, and managed services, much of which is not differentiated as most customers move to cloud. Operating AI-native (non-deterministic) software is significantly more complex, as it requires continuous, proactive, creative testing, AI-training, monitoring, and adaptive evolution to remain useful. How does one trust and ensure that an application is working correctly when both behavior and context change every moment? Join this session to learn more from one of the CA Technologies' foremost experts on AI and ML.

How AI Helps Site Reliability Engineers Automate Incident Response featuring LinkedIn >

How AI is Helping Site Reliability Engineers Automate Incident Response
Todd Palino, LinkedIn & David Blank-Edelman, SRE author, SRECon founder and Kieran Taylor, Sr. Director, Product Marketing, CA Technologies

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a discipline that incorporates aspects of software engineering and applies that to IT operations problems. SRE strives to bring an engineering mindset to the operational challenges of running production systems at scale. By focusing on reliability as a primary property of the complex systems we run, SRE enables the business to navigate the tricky path between feature velocity and operational stability.

As the complexity of the systems we operate increases thanks to scale and the adoption of modern software architectures, so too does the difficulty of the work. People with the skill set necessary to deal with these challenges are scarce and in high demand.  This resulting skills gap presents an opportunity to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to augment SRE teams. Join this session to learn about Site Reliability Engineering and learn how SREs are automating incident response to improve user experience.
