Ayman Sayed is president and chief product officer at CA Technologies, responsible for the strategy and development of the company's full portfolio of Enterprise products and solutions. His mandate is to focus on building a differentiated product portfolio meant to help CA customers solve their most difficult business problems in the application economy.

Ayman joined CA in August of 2015. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of the Network Operating Systems Technology Group at Cisco, where he oversaw the vision and engineering direction for Cisco’s software strategy. He helped Cisco pioneer the programmable networks arena with the Open Network Environment (Cisco ONE) strategy, a vital element for enabling the Intelligent Network evolution.

With more than 25 years of experience in managing high-performance software organizations, Ayman is passionate about using software innovation to help customers solve their most difficult business challenges.

Ayman joined Cisco in 1999 and held leadership roles across several businesses including Core Routing, Edge Routing, Enterprise Access Switching and most recently Mobility Virtualization. He drove multi-billion dollar business growth through product innovation and new product introductions.

Previously, he was director of engineering at Plaintree Systems, where he led the development and engineering teams that created their Ethernet switching product line.

Ayman holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University.
