Dòrica Munell is a Sr. Project Manager at Strategic Research Labs in Barcelona. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the 5 European Union funded projects currently on-going or recently finished. Her duties include managing the projects granted to CA Strategic Research Labs, as well as finding other research opportunities and funding from other resources (international, national and local levels), giving support to project proposal writing and helping establish successful research collaborations with other institutions or companies. During the last 7 years, she has been managing more than 40 EU funded projects, in the industry sector (Intel Corporation and CA Technologies) as well as in Academia (UPC and Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica). Additionally, she has experience in managing internal industrial projects with very restricted IP and a long background working in the research area of multinational companies: prior to joining CA, Dòrica worked in companies and organizations related to research for more than 15 years: Grifols (Pharma), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC, Technical University), Intel Corporation (Microprocessors), Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica (Biomedicine).
Dòrica graduated (Bachelor’s Degree) in Translation Studies at UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Additionally, she graduated in Business Studies from UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya). Recently, she finished a Master Program on Project Management at La Salle Barcelona.
Dòrica is very interested in Project Management, especially in Agile Methodologies. She is also a fan of Business Strategy and Innovation.
