The competition brought together students from business and information technology disciplines to demonstrate and evaluate the strategic value of IT management for an organization. The winners included:

Prior to arriving at the competition, the teams were provided with a case study on a company in the throes of change. This year's case study was provided by global payments technology company, Visa Inc. (NYSE: V). During the competition, teams presented their recommendations on how the company could adapt and align its IT infrastructure to take advantage of new business opportunities and adjacent markets, while leveraging its extensive IT capabilities.

“We were impressed by the students’ presentations and recommendations,” said Scott Edington, Global Head of R&D, Visa Inc. “Supporting this Case Competition aligns with our Open Innovation model, so we were delighted to provide an opportunity for the students to showcase their skills in providing potential value to our business.”
