New York, NY, May 2, 2017 – CA Technologies announced today that it has been recognized as one of the 50 Best Places to Work for New Dads by Fatherly, the leading digital lifestyle guide for young parents. CA Technologies is one of just 50 companies included on the organization’s report highlighting the best paternity benefits offered by leading companies in the United States.
With industry leaders like Facebook, American Express, Spotify and Twitter, CA Technologies ranked number 14 overall on the list, providing 12 weeks of full paid leave to new dads.
“At CA, we implement innovative strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive industry. Our generous paternity leave program is just one of many progressive benefits initiatives that make us an employer of choice – we are proud to be recognized for this,” said Beth Conway, vice president, Human Resources.
“The companies on this year’s list are truly leaders in the space,” said Simon Isaacs, Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer, Fatherly. “These organizations are not only demonstrating the importance of supporting new parents in this critical phase but are likewise paving the way for expanded leave for all.”
To compile the list, Fatherly worked in tandem with preeminent experts in the field; Stew Friedman, Director of Wharton’s Work/Life Integration Project, Scott Behson, professor at Silberman College of Business, Fairleigh Dickinson University and PL+US: Paid Leave for the United States to evaluate the policies extended to parents. To be eligible, companies had to have at least 1,000 employees and must offer a minimum of four weeks paid paternity leave.
