Reporting errors that were documented as fixed by 10.00.00.D08a on Spectrum 10 are seen on Spectrum 10.1.

Several reporting issues were resolved in Spectrum 10, by the patch 10.00.00.D08a (or D10.00.00.D20), which was included in Spectrum 10.x.   However we are still seeing these problems after installing 10.x.  Symptoms include:
•WKP_ProxyUserSecurity in parameter pages is NULL! which results in no records found in the reports.
•Users other than Administrator user name cannot generate reports.
•While generating reports using 'Data Range' option, throws unpassable date format exception.
•NCM reports parameter pages doesn't load properly.
•Global Collections list is not populated in group reports.
•Opening report parameter page causes 404 error page.


Spectrum 10.1 CABI 4.1

Patch 10.00.00.D08a (10.00.00.D20) requires that some post install steps be run after installation.  They involved adding various files to the CABI install, that were downloaded with the patch.  These files were added as part of the Spectrum 10.1 build, but CABI 4.1.3 has not changed since Spectrum 10, so this problem has reappeared in Spectrum 10.1.


We need to run part of the post install steps from Patch 10.00.00.D08a after installing Spectrum 10.1.  Please update the Spectrum content on the CABI  server using below steps:

 a. Run SpectrumUpdate command as per documentation

          b. Stop the CABI tomcat server       

          c. Delete "localhost" folder in CABI tomcat's work\Catalina folder

          d. Back up UdmCAFApp.jar at C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\eclipse\plugins\webpath.UdmCAFApp\web\WEB-INF\lib

          where C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\ is the CABI4.x

          installation directory.

          e. Copy the UdmCAFApp.jar file which got downloaded into

          SpectrumUpdate utility folder to following location:

          C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\eclipse\plugins\webpath.UdmCAFApp\web\WEB-INF\lib

          where C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\ is the CABI4.x

          installation directory

          f. Copy listParameters.jsp and runReport.jsp from Spectrum <SPEC_Home>/tomcat/webapps/spectrum/repmgr/admin/ to following location:

          C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\tomcat\webapps\BOE\WEB-INF\eclipse\plugins\webpath.UdmCAFApp\web\jsp where C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CommonReporting4\ is the CABI4.x installation directory

          g. Start the CABI tomcat server
