There is a CA File Master Plus 10.0 performance issue when editing a dataset.

Issue:

We have upgraded the CA File Master Plus 10.0 in our test system which is the clone of our production system with some differences in resources.  While performing data set editing in the  V10 system we faced some delay in processing.  

The data set has a LRECL of 3500 and the number of records approximately 180000.  We performed searches of the DSN in V10 and they were taking more than 2 minutes each

We checked the same operation in V9.1, which is in our real production system and have not faced any delay in processing.

Please look into the above scenario and let us know if we need to perform any additional customization or is there any CPU processing delay.

Title: HIGH CPU UTILIZATION IN GRS 

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 

Browsing or Editing a dataset can cause high CPU utilization for the 

GRS component of z/OS. 

SYMPTOMS: 

When attempting to Browse or Edit a dataset the user's session can 

hang and the system shows high CPU utilization for the GRS component 

of z/OS. 

IMPACT: 

The user cannot Browse or Edit the dataset. 

CIRCUMVENTION: 

In some cases if the dataset is in use by another task or user, 

releasing the dataset from that task or user may resolve the problem.
