Introduction:

In CA Client Automation, when creating a OS Image you need to select the

Operating System you are creating the image for,

that data is stored in the template.ini file.

Question:

When we run the New OS Image Wizard ,

why does the Operating System list have no Operating Systems listed ?

Environment:
CA Client Automation - All Versions
Answer:

When running the New OS Image Wizard and the Operating Systems List comes up blank

or it is missing Operating System(OS) Images:

Wizard.png

You need to check the following folders structure:

\CA\DSM\osimips\os-template\

Is the template.ini file there ??

template.png

In the images subdirectory is there sub-directories for each template ??

Copy the Images or template.ini from another DM or reinstall OSIM.
