CleverPath EUREKA:Strategy 5.7.x and earlier Support Expiration Scheduled

Dear valued Eureka Strategy Client:
We are sending you this Product Information Bulletin (PIB) to notify you about changes in the technical support provided for Eureka Strategy.
Computer Associates will continue to provide support for clients who are using versions 6.0 and 5.8 of Eureka Strategy and hold an active maintenance contract. Support for version 5.7x and prior, however, will be limited after July 31, 2001.
It is important that you understand what these support changes mean. Clients with versions 5.7x and prior should upgrade to the latest release in order to continue receiving support-though, of course, CA will still provide telephone (Level 1) support to help clients upgrade their software and convert their Eureka Strategy applications.
For clients with versions 5.7x and prior, CA will continue to provide telephone support (Level 1) and some debugging support (Level 2). Any new bugs that may be discovered in releases 5.7x and prior will be investigated, and the Level 2 support manager will determine if fixing the 5.7x and prior release is warranted. In most instances, if a problem has been corrected in the current GA release of Eureka Strategy, the fix will not be retrofitted to release 5.7x and prior. Also, new releases of supporting software-databases, operating system, communication software, etc.-will only be supported in the current GA release after verification. Support for these items will not be provided for in release 5.7x and prior.
For these reasons, we would like to encourage you to upgrade to the latest release of Eureka Strategy in order to ensure uninterrupted support for all your issues.
